Additional Storage and Sanitary Facilities on a Congested Industrial Site
At a production site in Roeselare, available space within the existing buildings was becoming limited. Materials, machine parts, and consumables needed to be stored securely and dry, while there was also a demand for additional sanitary facilities close to the work area. New construction was not an option: it would incur significant time, require permits, and cause production downtime. Idelco therefore installed an arrangement of modular storage units with an adjoining sanitary unit, positioned right next to the production hall and on existing paved ground.
Secure Storage Units, Dry and Robust
The storage units are fully insulated and waterproof, featuring wide double doors that facilitate smooth loading and unloading with a pallet truck or forklift. The units are levelled on plastic support blocks, ensuring the ground remains undisturbed and allowing the units to be easily relocated or collected later. The clean white panels with the Idelco logo maintain a neat and professional appearance – important for a site that also receives clients and suppliers.
Sanitary Unit with Toilet, Washbasin, and Shower
Next to the storage units is a sanitary unit – also known as a sanitainer – complete with a toilet, washbasin, and shower. The unit was connected to water and sewerage via a temporary supply line, neatly concealed under a cable bridge to ensure safe passage for vehicles and pedestrians. A galvanised staircase with a handrail provides comfortable and secure access. This arrangement ensures employees have sanitary facilities conveniently located near their workspace, avoiding the need to repeatedly visit the main building.

The entire setup was delivered and made operational in a single day. Both the modular storage units and the sanitary unit are available for rent or purchase, offering industrial companies the flexibility to adapt during peak periods, renovations, or temporary projects.
