A butcher's or convenience store that closes for several months risks losing customers. That's why this retailer opted for a temporary shop in Idelco's modular units, located right next to the existing premises. The units were placed in the car park, connected, and furnished, ensuring the business remained open throughout the entire renovation – seven days a week.
A Fully-Fledged Retail Space, Not an Emergency Solution
Multiple units were linked together to form one open retail area. Inside, there is space for a long refrigerated counter with meat and prepared dishes, freezer compartments, shelves stocked with dry goods and beverages, a bread display, and a full-featured till point with a conveyor belt. Smooth, washable walls and floors, modern lighting, air conditioning, and ventilation transform the space into a hygienic retail environment that meets food safety requirements.
Customer-Friendly Access with Automatic Sliding Door
At the front, a wide automatic sliding door was installed with an aluminium ramp and handrail, allowing everyone – including those with walkers or pushchairs – easy access. Large windows with roller shutters provide natural light and security outside opening hours. Advertising flags and a banner ensure the temporary shop is immediately visible from the street.
